Bai Dai
Although it is just over 20 kilometers from the center of Nha Trang city and about 12 kilometers from the airport, Bai Dai offers a pure natural space. Apart from the spacious asphalt road lined with flowers from the airport to the city center, there is nothing modern in this area. On this more than 10-kilometer-long beach, there is only the blue sea and white sand. Along the coast are high white sand dunes. It is rare to find such white sand dunes anywhere else.
Despite its name, Bai Dai beach is only about 1 km long, from the foot of the mountain to the next bay. However, the beach here is fine, very clean, and particularly unspoiled by human activity. On calm sea days, the receding tide reveals a vast sandy area. The sea here is quite shallow, making it very safe for visitors, even those who can't swim. Bathing in this sea is also different from bathing at Nha Trang beach as you won't be affected by the noise of street engines, water scooters, or beachgoers. Bai Dai is very favorable for the development of tourism in Cam Ranh in particular and Nha Trang in general. Therefore, Bai Dai is currently being planned for the construction of many high-end resorts. Notable examples include The Anam and Duyen Ha.

Binh Lap Peninsula
Located in the Tu Binh sea area – Cam Ranh, Binh Lap is less known to tourists because of its almost completely isolated location. Traveling to Binh Lap does not cost much, but it offers you nearly pristine experiences with endless blue sea and white sand. You can visit Binh Lap at any time of the year. During spring and summer months, Binh Lap sea is clear, and the sea water is crystal clear, making it the best time to explore Binh Lap.
Visiting Binh Lap feels like stepping into an entirely different world. Though it is just a peninsula, this place feels isolated from the outside world. In Binh Lap, you can explore Binh Chau beach as it is easy to find and has many shops. Binh Ngang beach is also popular for exploration. This beach is located in front of Villa Dao Hoa Vang. Due to its clean and clear water, locals set up many nets to raise shrimp. Additionally, you can rent a boat to explore Con beach and other pristine beaches around Binh Lap.
Binh Ba Island
Located in Cam Ranh city (Khanh Hoa province), Binh Ba Island is famous for its nickname "lobster island" and the richness of the small and relatively pristine island. Moreover, Binh Ba is gradually developing into an attractive tourist area. For several years now, islanders have become accustomed to seeing eager tourists from far and wide setting foot on the harbor, passionately exploring each wonderful feature of this pristine island.
The three famous beaches on Binh Ba are Binh Chau Beach, Binh Nom Beach, and Binh Nha Cu Beach. Each beach has its own characteristics for you to explore according to your preferences. If Binh Chau Beach is the perfect place to watch the sunrise, pitching a tent to enjoy the sunset at Binh Nom Beach is also a great option. Binh Nha Cu Beach is loved for its crystal-clear deep water and picturesque surroundings. Many people choose Binh Nha Cu Beach for snorkeling and trying their hand at catching seafood.
Tu Van Pagoda
Tu Van Pagoda, also known as Shell Pagoda or Coral Pagoda, was built in 1968 on 3/4 Street, Cam Ranh City. Constructed mainly from shells and corals, the pagoda has become an attractive tourist spot due to its unique architecture. The most impressive feature for visitors is the 39-meter-high Bao Tich Tower, recognized as the tallest in Vietnam. The tower has a complex structure with 49 small conical towers outside, each containing a statue of a thousand-armed, thousand-eyed Buddha; on top of each small tower is a small stupa. Hundreds of large and small Buddha statues are meticulously arranged on this tower.
Apart from the tower, the journey down the "18 levels of hell" is a fascinating experience at Shell Pagoda. The path down "hell" is only about 500 meters long but is intricately built from coral stones and shells, with an eye-catching dragon shape on the outside. As it goes deep underground, the passage is dark, narrow, winding, and twisting. Along the way are 12 boards recording earthly crimes and punishments at the gates of hell, like advice for people to live a kind and virtuous life. Sometimes, you might be startled by the "horrifying torture" scenes faintly appearing in the flickering light.
Hon Ba Nature Reserve
Hon Ba is a mountain located between Khanh Phu Commune, Khanh Vinh District, and Suoi Cat Commune, Cam Lam District, about 60 km southwest of Nha Trang City. Hon Ba stands at 1578 meters above sea level, with a winding road from the foot to the top, resembling a snake coiling around the mountain when viewed from afar. The average slope here is 8 degrees, making it quite easy to drive to the top.
Higher than Da Lat, the temperature in Hon Ba ranges from 10-20 degrees Celsius and is covered with clouds all year round. The road to Hon Ba is said to pass through a primeval forest, though now only a few ancient trees remain, and the rest are mostly low shrubs. Near the top, one side of the mountain is clear, while the other side is shrouded in clouds. Over 8 years ago, Hon Ba was opened to the public, and Yasaka Nha Trang Hotel invested in tourism development. However, until now, Hon Ba is mainly visited to pay respects to the place where Dr. Yersin once lived and worked.
Binh Hung Island
If you are too familiar with the name "lobster island" Binh Ba, you can venture to Binh Hung Island not far away to explore new things on this raw gem. Binh Hung Island is located in the deep-water bay of Cam Ranh. You can see this beautiful island right from the winding Vinh Hy – Binh Tien pass.
Setting foot on the island, you will be immediately captivated by the clear blue sea and pristine white sand beaches. The beaches here are not as long and wide as those in Mui Ne or Nha Trang but are always clean and clear to the bottom. The sea is not deep, gradually sloping, and you can see coral right under your feet after wading out a few dozen meters. Especially on the beaches, there are rocks with various shapes, styles, and colors.
